Also known as sandpaper discs, this is a type of orbital sanding disc made for easy attachment and removal to your power tools like an orbital sander, for example. One side has an abrasive material attached to it while the reverse has a hook and loop backing (much like standard Velcro) to attach to the orbital sander or disc sander.

As a manufacturer of the orbital sanding discs we have the possibility to laminate the abrasive material with different type of hook and loop material. There are many types of thickness and weight, which can influence the final performance of the sanding disc. Ask our experts for further advise.

The quick-change discs, also known as Lockit® or Roloc® discs, feature a threaded button attachment. This threaded button fits into the holder's attachment system. These discs fit all Lockit® and Roloc® holders. A simple twist through 180 degrees releases the disc. Lockit® or Roloc® is a unique quick-change system. The system can be adapted to suit specific applications by choosing from the range of quick-change back-up pads which are available in different hardnesses. As a manufacturer of these quick-change discs we can offer you a very extensive range of different qualities and types, even if you only require relatively small quantities.

Danpoort supplies a very wide range of surface conditioning discs. In addition to the 3M Scotch-Brite™ Surface Conditioning Discs with or without a centre hole, we also supply the Norton Rapid Prep Vortex Surface Conditioning discs. This Norton product is a new innovation in surface treatment. Rapid Prep combines fast cutting with a long service life and an improved surface finish. As a well equipped modern abrasive converter we are able to manufacture a wide variaty of dimensions and configurations.

Film is much more durable than paper and will not tear easily. The high durability provides longer product life and even surface provides outstanding finish. Film is the best choice for dry and wet sanding applications. We offer a high-quality film disc with premium grain, strong resin bond and special stearated coating. This provides superiour performance and life. We offer film discs with velour backing or self-adhesive film. Any desired size is possible and discs can be produced with a variety of hole patterns so that they can be used on almost any machine.

Abrasive cloth discs are ideal for dry sanding many surfaces where quality of finish is of primary importance. We offer a wide range of abrasive sanding cloth discs which means that we can offer you the right quality for your application. Private Label is one of the options where we can print your company name or logo on the back of the sanding disc. Abrasive cloth discs come with a velour backing or with a self-adhesive film. A range of hole shapes enable use on nearly every machine.

We do offer sanding abrasive discs with PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive sanding discs) which makes sanding easy and convenient; just press the disc on the pad and sand. The disc peels off easily when the job is done, making sandpaper disc changes fast and convenient. Long-lasting, tough abrasive minerals resist loading for longer disc life and better performance. Premium discs work on a wide variety of surfaces such as paint, primer, fiberglass and metal.

A coarse cleaning disc, also known as clean and strip sanding disc, for removing rust, corrosion, glue remnants, dirt and old paint. Also suitable for cleaning and finishing welded seams without damaging the work piece. Surfaces can be cleaned without damage. Danpoort International Abrasives has a wide variaty in quality (color) of Clean & Strip materials. We supply a very extensive range of fibre-backed abrasive discs. In addition to the standard aluminium oxide fibre-backed abrasive discs, we also supply other products including 3M Cubitron II (3M fibre-backed abrasive disc 982 Cubitron II) and the innovative ceramic quality offered by VSM. The VSM Ceramic Plus (XF885) Fiber abrasive discs with ceramic abrasive grains offer an extremely long service life and high cutting speed. The “topsize” (grinding aid) allows cooler grinding. An innovative, high-quality product which allows you to grind faster, more comfortably and more efficiently.

The sanding flap discs are used for deburring, polishing, and grinding welds and rough surfaces. This product is an excellent alternative for the fibre disc or rough grinding disc. The flap disc is more economical, quieter and vibrates less, which makes it more pleasant to work with. Danpoort has a modern production facility in the Netherlands where the flap discs are made entirely in-house. The flap disc is made exactly according to your wishes and specifications, including your own label. This makes for a great many possibilities.
