Mr Daniël van der Poort founded Danpoort in 1932. As time passed, the business expanded in size to become a major industrial supplier of sanding, grinding and polishing materials.
As a "3M Authorized Converter Abrasive Systems" and a "P VAR" converter (Value Added Reseller) Danpoort International Abrasives B.V. is responsible for all of 3M's "Non-standard Abrasive Products" in the entire Benelux area. The collaboration between 3M Nederland B.V. and Danpoort International Abrasives B.V. reflects 3M's new, global mission to establish a presence that is closer to its markets and customers.
